Product Features:

A weekly birth control patch designed to fit your life

  • No daily pill, no procedures, and no devices in your body
  • Twirla is designed with a soft, flexible fabric that’s proven to stay in place
  • With Twirla, you change your patch just once a week for 3 weeks, and you don’t wear a patch in week 4
  • Twirla is a hormonal birth control patch for women with a BMI less than 30 kg/m2 who can become pregnant. Twirla is less effective in women with a BMI of 25 kg/m2 or more to less than 30 kg/m2 and should not be used in women with a BMI of 30 kg/m2 or more
  • The most common side effects reported by women using Twirla in a clinical study were skin reactions at the patch site, nausea, headache, menstrual cramps, and weight gain. These are not all the possible side effects of Twirla. Call your healthcare provider for medical advice about side effects
  • In a clinical trial, 95% of patches adhered, while 5% of patches fully detached
  • Check Twirla daily and after water exposure to ensure edges haven’t lifted
